Two or Less - FACEBOOK:
Two or Less was started in the small Hamlet of Sanborn, New York, This small town band ( Ted Klettke, Drums / Nick Stevens, Lead Guitar / Brian Mangus, Bass / James Bennett, Guitar / Kevin Rhoney, Lead Singer) has big time visions to rock out whenever they can. So come out and check this rocking band for yourself. When the band was being formed, Harry Neale was the colour commentator for the Buffalo Sabres. When a penalty would be called Harry would often say the player is serving “Two or Less” – the length of a hockey penalty.

Ted and his cousin Nick were looking to create a band and play 10 songs for his high school graduation party. They brought in Ted’s brother Andy to sing, brother in law Mark for another guitar, and Uncle Dave to play bass (former bass player for Onyx). They called themselves “Ted’s Grad Party”. After a successful show, Nick and Ted’s cousin Lynn wanted them to play their wedding. Uncle Dave was unavailable play that show and highschool friend Brian Mangus was brought in last minute to fill in on Bass. After another successful show, Ted, Nick and Brian wanted to explore taking the band a step further. This was not in the interest of Andy and Mark so Kevin and Jim were brought in as replacements to take the band to the bar scene. With only a small portion of the original “Ted’s Grad Party” remaining in the band, the name was changed to “Two or Less”.

Toy Box Brigade - FACEBOOK:

The Toy Box Brigade began as an idea in February of 2017. Since then that idea has grown into a DIY minded group of friends who refuse to grow up and who occasionally get together to relive the best music of the 90’s…Ska-punk! Some might consider it a punishment, but we consider it a privilege. With this in mind, we set out to take the party-rock atmosphere of the third wave ska genre and inject it with a bit of our own special flavor to bring something totally unique to the WNY music scene. Influenced by the likes of Less Than Jake, Reel Big Fish, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Goldfinger, and the Interrupters among many other talented artists in the genre, we have created a sound all our own.

Playing with the likes of The Toasters, Mustard Plug and some of our other heroes, Toy Box has its eyes set on greater horizons in 2019 as we begin to tour and release our debut EP. Aside from playing with these great bands, our favorite memory so far was playing on the local stage for the Buffalo date of Warped Tour in the summer of 2018 alongside our dear friends in the local punk and ska scene. With our focus on a fun, and energetic live show, Toy Box Brigade hopes to bring new music, new shows and new ideas, backed by a DIY mentality to the communities in Western New York and beyond. 2018 was fun but 2019 will be even better as we continue to help our local communities with charity events aimed at raising awareness for some incredible causes while continuing to have fun doing it. With all that being said, we hope to see you at a show soon and want to take time to remind everyone to skank, smile and be happy!
