Stone Temple Pilots Announce First Live Show Since Chester Bennington's Death
The band will also debut a new lead singer
After over a year-and-a-half of searching, rehearsing, and auditioning, the surviving members of Stone Temple Pilots will reveal the identity of their new lead singer at their live show at the Troubadour Theater in West Hollywood, CA on November 14. This marks the band’s first show since the death of lead Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington, who filled in as STP’s frontman after the passing of its singer Scott Weiland.
Earlier this year, the band celebrated the 25th anniversary of its debut album, Core, and recently honored the late STP singer on what would have been his 50th birthday.
Happy Birthday Scott. 50 years ago today the world was given a gift. Thank you for all you gave us. Happy Birthday. pic.twitter.com/ddFKqhBRs3
