Everyone who is excited to see Jack White at Artpark on June 8th, better be ready to put their phone away during the concert!  And not just in your pocket...but on lock down.

Jack White who has been a long time believer of banning cell phones during concerts has released a statement saying: “No photos, video or audio recording devices allowed...We think you’ll enjoy looking up from your gadgets for a little while and experience music and our shared love of it IN PERSON.”

White wants his concerts to be "100% human experience".  In order to make this happen, concert goers will still be able to have their phone on them but they will be locked up in Yondr pouches.  A pretty brilliant idea if you ask me...your phone is locked in this pouch and on you at all times.  You can step outside at any point to go unlock and access your phone.

I kinda agree with White on this one.  We lose so much of the concert experience when we are trying to record every poignant moment.

Let us know your thoughts!  Will this change your decision on seeing Jack White at Artpark?
